Holiday Concert for Kids, Family and Friends

Saturday, December 8, 2012 (4:00pm) at the Golden State Theatre, 417 Alvarado Street, Monterey

Part of Monterey's day-long holiday celebration, the Montrey County Pops! presents a program of Holidays Around the World.  (See the full newspaper ad here.)

Music from France, England, Ukraine;  Feliz Navidad (Puerto Rico) and "Hanukkah, Oh Hannukah."  We will conclude with a sing-along (Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and White Christmas), "Go Tell It on the Mountain" (a spiritual) and the "Christmas Jazz Suite."

The performance includes guest appearances by Dance Kids of Monterey County and Youth Music Monterey County.

Immediately following the concert we will lead a procession to the City of Monterey's tree lighting ceremony.

As always, this is a free performance open to all.  The Golden State Theater's seating is limited to 1,000 guests so plan to arrive promptly when the doors open at 3:15.
